AlUla rewards a reservation-first approach. Decide which heritage sessions matter, then match the accommodation and transfers to those times. The landscape is part of the reason to come, but a resort booking is not an admission ticket to every archaeological site. For Makkah, the first planning question is whether the visit is permitted for the traveler and purpose concerned. Only after that is settled should accommodation proximity, seasonal access and transport be considered. This is not a general leisure add-on to a Jeddah stay. For a selective cultural route, assign meaningful time to two or three bases instead of automatically adding all five. Compare a capital-and-heritage combination with a Jeddah-and-AlUla combination, then check the actual flights and transfers before deciding.
